About Angie Hionis-Bell

With a childhood spent amidst the sizzle of steaks and the warmth of family at the Claymont Steak Shop, and later, as the reigning Mrs. Delaware United States, my connection to Delaware and its communities runs deep. 

Growing up, my father's success as one of the original owners of the Claymont Steak Shop instilled in me a profound appreciation and love for our unique state. His passion became my own, leading me to represent our area as the first and only Mrs. Pumpkin Chunkin, and Mrs. Delaware United States in 2011, while actively engaged in community service throughout the county. 

Drawing from my mom’s upbringing on a farm in Newark, and now as the landowner of the very land where my parents' love story began, I have an intimate understanding of Delaware's diverse landscapes and neighborhoods. For the past two decades, Bear has been my home, and my son's academic journey through Caravel Academy and the University of Delaware has granted me invaluable insights into the needs and aspirations of families in our area. 

With a degree in political science from the University of Delaware and years of experience managing properties, including our family's cherished beachfront real estate in Bethany, I offer a unique blend of expertise in both real estate and community dynamics.
