About Leslie Carpenter

With a diverse professional background in marketing, business development, and public relations along with a tremendous breadth of experience working with people, Leslie Carpenter is ready to put her skills to work for your purchase or sale.

A native Delawarean, Leslie has lived in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, but Delaware was always home. Leslie has a lifelong love of horses and the outdoors and has an “off the track” thoroughbred. She and her husband, Bob, have five grown children and live in Wilmington with their two dogs. Her friendly, detailed-oriented personality enables her to see the “big picture” and prioritize tasks, while following through on every item to ensure success. Her experience, knowledge of the area and tenacious work ethic is what allows her to deliver, every time!

Before joining Patterson-Schwartz, Leslie Carpenter served as the Race Director for the Willowdale Steeplechase for the past eight years and remains on the Board. During her time at Willowdale, she also served as Director of the Pennsylvania Hunt Cup for almost two years; she is still a member of the PHC Race Committee. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors for the National Steeplechase Association. Utilizing her prior work experiences and skill sets, she knows how to guide you to the finish line.
